    When checking for Smeg retro models there is a trick. You need the fab number for the doors / cabinet associated / coloured parts. But for the generic you should also see a STRP number on the rating plate, which is the base code for the machine. The base number can be used on our online search.

    Thanks everybody for your help .I got to say fridges are not my thing, the costomer first telephoned about the washing machine then after fixing that she hit me with the fridge repair . Can any body tell me will i need any special tools for this job and a few tips on fitting Thanks GLEN
