Smeg fridge not cooling (freezer working)

Ey up

Have seen similar questions listed, but with no answers.
Our 10-year-old smeg integrated fridge freezer (FPD34PS-1) is not working correctly. Whilst the freezer is acting normally, the fridge is not cooling.

Is there anything I can do/check to diagnose the problem myself? Have already tried defrosting with no avail.
Any help/advice would be appreciated.

It sounds like the fridge thermostat is not working.

It’s a dual compressor model and thermostat model so it could be the stat or compressor, no way to know without testing.

If the fridge compressor is cold then it is most likely the fridge thermostat.

If the compressor for the fridge is hot then it would be the compressor or refrigerant fault.
