The small oven was not activating the cooling fan, I replaced the thermostat but also found that it had been disconnected. I have reconnected the unit, but the white unit that is behind the thermostat is some sort of resistor and gets hot, setting the fan running. Since fixing this the main oven is now running the cooling fan for a shorter time than previous resulting in the facia getting hot.

Does anyone know the wiring for this unit, I note all wires are numbered, Currently the wire to the resistor on the small oven is also connected to a grill element, so I assume this is a live blue wire?

have not got access to wiring but i think we had someone on here that asked servast for it and they provided it. worth an ask

the resistor is used to slow the fan down for noise purposes and does get hot in use
