Smeg Oven 5HO Error?

Ser 71122
This smeg oven allows you to select function and temperature but nothing starts. All elements fans etc are ok. Seems to show up 5HO sometimes, not sure if this is an error.

Sounds like it is in “Show room” mode, to deactivate you need to:
Turn the oven controls to Off
Press and hold the left hand control for 3 seconds, the clock hours section should be flashing.
Press the left hand control knob again, the minutes should now be flashing.
Press the knob again, Display will now show “P1” on the left hand side and “OF” or “ON” on the right, this is the child lock, twist the knob left or right to change – set to “OF” to disable child lock
Press the knob again, Display will now show “P2” on the left hand side and “OF” or “ON” on the right, this is the Show Room function, twist the knob left or right to change – set to “OF” to clear your “error”
Press the knob again, Display will now show “P3” on the left hand side and “OF” or “ON” on the right, this is the Power limit function, twist the knob left or right to change – If on it will limit the power draw of the appliance to 2300W

Hope that helps – they are not very intuitive to the end user on these functions.

I did discover all those settings you described but didn’t have a clue what they meant. Customer had no manual. Will go back and give it a try.

All working fiine now I’ve managed to switch off child lock and showroom mode.
