    I have a problem with the oven in that the gas goes out a few minutes after I have switched the oven on.
    We have just moved from a country where the oven worked on natural gas, to a country where it now runs on butane; the nozzles have been replaced and the airflow adjusted.
    Any ideas what the problem might be?

    Hi Mish,

    Are you sure that the model number is correct as I can’t find it on the Smeg tech info? Is it a UK model?

    The complete number is S854XV/A, and it was bought in Belgium.

    That’s why I don’t have any info on it then. 😉

    At a guess I’d be looking at the FSD as being the cause of the problem but to replace that you do have to break gas connections. I am totally unaware of the regulations on gas in other EU states but I’d have to advise that you got a qualified service engineer to repair it as if it is not done correctly it is a potential hazard.
