SMEG oven SC485X-8 keeps switching off once up to heat

Hi guys, any ideas on this one. I have a fairly new SMEG SC485X-8 oven (about 3yrs old) which has started cooling down once it gets up to heat.

I’m, assuming its a faulty themostat but very keen to avoid needless spend if its something else.

Any thoughts ?

sound like it

does the red light go out and stay out?

when it does if you raise and lower stat can you hear it clicking

if no click it prob the stat.
if it clicks and the light does not go on and off then it may be elsewhere

Dave, thanks for response. I think, when I increased the tempting her, that it got hot again which would be along what you suggested but I will check.
