I went to this oven today and I’m not sure if it is faulty or not. Customer complains that it makes a funny noise and is overheating. She has been using the oven for the last 5 years, on the top / bottom heat setting without the circulation fan. The noise seems normal to me and is the cooling fan in the top. She claims the oven used to be silent so perhaps this fan wasn’t working before 😕 I’m not sure how the other, rear fan works on this model, does it just provide turbulance to distribute the heat evenly? At the moment I have advised her to try a lower temperature setting to see if that makes a difference, if not then try running with the fan + top / bottom heat. I checked that the thermostat was controlling but not the calibration as I didn’t have a thermometer with me. She seems to think the heat is concentrated at the bottom near the sides and is burning off carbon deposits there but is not burning the food. I noticed that the centr section of the grill element had grease deposits on it. Should the oven use the grill element as the upper oven element, if so, should it only use the outer section?
    Many thanks, Phil

Odd, the diagram shows two fan motors both at the rear but the wiring diagram only seems to show one 😕

Pics and wiring on the way shortly 🙂

Thanks Dave, the fan in the normal fan oven position can be seen rotating without any dismantling but I didn’t strip the appliance to see the other fan. I thought it would be the cylindrical type you often get in the top of integrated ovens.
