    Flashing up Fo8e.Anybody got the error codes for this oven.

    This was still under guarantee.Smeg engineer tried the pcb with no joy before Christmas.Just fitted a new oven thermostat switch 9th Jan now ok.Crap design the whole cooker is out action for 3 weeks because of this.Think there should be a campaign to keep digital electronics out of simple devices like cookers.

    i agree, i have had a neff oven with electronics that customer said not getting to temp, not even worth looking at as cost ofelectronics and sensors make it impossible to give a sensible quote. Ovens with switches, variable thermostats, you know where you are with them as a stat is cheap as chips and every engineer stocks them
