Hi

I have had a customer ring me this evening re this hob with a fault of overheating intermitant when using the timer.
When it goes faulty all the rings come up with a H except for the one in use which comers up with an E but with the top section of the E missing

I am looking for any information on this appliance and/or your thoughts as what could be the fault. Just trying to get as much info as possible as the customer lives on another island to myself and involves a day out plus a ferry so would like to sort out on the first call
