ParticipantI have a good customer that has just paid Smeg in the region of £14 for a 10 watt light bulb for an FAB28XS1 fridge.
Does anyone know of a stockist that charges reasonable prices for Smeg spares?

KeymasterJust ask in here n2o as many of us are Smeg stockists or repairers and think yourself lucky, a bulb for the dispenser on my Maytag badged as a De Dietrich was £34 ex VAT TRADE for a 10W capsule!

Apparently it’s not so much the price of the bulb that’s the problem. It’s the handling charge.

Nope, ludicrous price that is :eeek:
What voltage and thread fitting is it ? There must be an alternative supply somewhere.

Trust me I have searched high and low throughout my many contacts and cant source one anywhere other than Smeg.
Well stuff em…………. I knicked 1 out of a display model.
Not proud, but if anybody at Smeg wants to discuss this at a more public level I’m game.

ParticipantCan’t condone your behaviour Kippax, although we probably all sympathise with you.
If you’ve still got the old bulb, stick up a piccie, as we too have contacts, and the next person may be luckier!
