I’m confused. We have a SMEG Range oven, with the hob converted to run on LPG (the correct jets have been installed). The hob has been working fine for the last 6 months, but the other day could not get any flame from burners. Changed the LPG cylinder as this was getting low and in cold weather the pressure can drop. So now a new 47kg LPG cylinder and the burners are still only just functioning.

We have done nothing (100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}) to the supply in terms of damaging pipe work and made no adjustments to the cooker.

    Does anybody have any ideas?

    Thank you

    Graeme,

No I haven’t. But do the regulator wasn’t touched (prior to changing the cylinder). Can they suffer from a mechanical failure?

    Thank you.

Freddix, sorry we can’t advise on this I’m afraid legally.

Please call a Corgi registered engineer to help resolve the problem. You should be able to find one registered to carry out LPG work here:
