Smeg SC336x – Cannot Get The Door Back On

Hi all,

I’ve been fighting with the door of this unit all afternoon!

I’m unable to get the door to click back in at all, it will just drop straight out as it’s not latching on to anything.

I’m concerned that the latches are now loose and don’t seem to be doing anything, I’ve attempted to press down on the arms while the latch is lifted but no luck they will just drop down loose again…

dont think those hinges latch that way . not sure what that peicw does

can see a hole in the side. push hinges down and find a nail big enough to hold hinge in locked position

I’ve given that a shot however that hole is never clear no matter where the hinges sit so there isn’t a chance to get anything through it.
