Hi – I think the thermostat in my SMEG Oven has died.
The oven still works, but heats up and up until things burn to a crisp!
Turning the temp knob, there is no longer a ‘click’ where the element switches off at desired temp.
I think I have identified the required replacement part – 818730401.
Can anyone advise if this is fairly straight forward to replace for the average bloke in the street? Are there any guides available or anyone got any tips?
