Hi guys, had a mate on the phone earlier. He has a slimline smeg integrated s/s d/w (sorry no model no as yet).

He says it is showing E1, wont fill, just pumps out then aborts. From his description I’m thinking flooded base. Any known leaky bits on these, also whats the best way to attack these as never worked on one :rolls:

Any help appreciated, will post model no etc when I get it.

    Cheers

    Flood protection activated.

Standard leak is from the joint between the upper and lower fill matrices; obviously usual culprits can apply – circulation motor, over-fill, furry creatures nibbling things…..

a lot of the 45cm dishwashers dont have a leak tray as such, would need model number to confirm.
