Smeg ST1123 integrated dishwasher. Type:- 12084. Serial no:- 41213 0629/0.

This one has got me foxed. 😕
Start the program, the machine drains and then as it begins to fill it pulses the drain pump and beeps alternately. It will not progress beyond this point on any cycle.
Now I realise a 4lb lump hammer would definately sort it out and also provide immense job satisfaction, but before I do that, does anyone know why this is happening? I have checked for earth faults on the heater, the motor and the whole machine; substituted the dispenser solenoid; checked the suppressor;and checked for blockages. All to no avail. 👿
That just leaves the PCB……is there anything I’ve missed? If it is the PCB, a part number would be helpful as well…. 😉

    Thanks,

    Steve.

does it have a flow meter, if it does it sounds like it could be faulty.

part number is 696290833 for pcb. assume you have checked everything you said i dont think it could be anything else. Very slight earth faults on the circ pump can cause problems like this so make sure that all is ok down there.

    Thanks guys!!

Thanks for the part number Mark – Smeg never dissapoint on their outrageous pricing, do they? 😯
It has a pressure switch on the right of the machine so I assumed that was controlling the fill level. Didn’t see a flowmeter but now I’m doubting myself……. 😕 Does this model have one?

    Cheers,

    Steve.

if it has one it will be part of the air break in the right hand side, never known one to fail though and as there is a specific error code for a flow meter failure then I doubt it is the cause.
