ParticipantSmeg ST1123 integrated dishwasher. Type 12054. Serial no. 40512 1101 0.
All parts function perfectly – pump, motor, heater, valve, soap dispenser….even the interference filter looks fine. Customer reports that the machine starts OK, progresses through the cycle, gets close to the end of the program and then pulses the pump and clicks the dispenser solenoid. The machine remains full of water, but the crocs are clean.
Classic scenario on visit – it won’t miss a beat for me. 👿 The programmer is the five LED’s with one button to the right of the LED’s. The 2 right side LED’s light to indicate program ‘End’. (Hope that describes it!)Any ideas please?
Thanks,
Steve.

Can’t find that one, Steve…..
Basic corruption issues are the suppressor and the dispenser solenoid on the 5 led machines – substitution may be the only way ahead. Eastlmark says that the motor capacitor is a factor on the LCD display ones in addition.
Ain’t no straightforward answer…..

Thanks, Chris!!
Annoying thing is….damn thing works fine for me. 👿 I’ll just have to swap those 2 items and see. I have 11 of the same machine in a 3 year old mews type development – and all seem to be failing now. Is the dispenser solenoid available separately? (I think I already know the answer!! 😀 ) It’s the valve coil type not the heated servo type.Steve.

It is (of course) the whole dispenser. Masterpart have a variety of “OB” dispensers listed from £5 (never been in stock whilst I’ve bought from them) upwards, as well as the gen SMEG items.

Approx. how much for a dispenser? Just to upset myself by how much Connect will charge me. I’m getting a bit fed up with their constant price rises……. 🙁
Thanks,
Steve.

Last one (still in the van) was £28 + VAT, so not too terrible. It’s been in 4 machines so far 😀 . Trouble is, I can’t get that model number to work, or I’d toss you some part numbers.

I can’t find it either – but I had another one (in the same mews) last week with an on / off button broken. That was a bit easier though…….
Checked and double – checked the numbers, definitely right; straight off the service label right side of the door.
Don’t know what else I can offer ATM…….. 😕Thanks,
Steve.
