Smeg SUK61 – no electric

Hi Folks

The electric oven on my Smeg SUK61MFX cooker is no longer working. The gas hob works fine but there is no sign of power including the electric ignition and the clock. Ive double checked the fuses to no avail.

Is there a possible simple repair I can effect with a part (an element?) or am I looking at a new cooker?.

well it sound like there is no power into the unit. you need to check the mains cable into the cooker first

cheers dave – ill pull all the gubbins out and follow that path when i get home tonight
