ParticipantNo loss of power no power being tripped. Two fans are turning. Oven starts heating but 15 or so mins in it stops and looses heat
All lights are working timer mode isn’t set ie it’s not like unit is alarming and turning off, the thermo is clicking when turning on off heating manually
Fans are spinning on the elements at the back but the oven stops heating and cools down about 15 mins after food goes in
Thermostat Indicator light always on
Any ideas what I can try before calling in a professional

what do you mean by “All lights on time mode isn’t on”
when it stops do the fans continue but heat stops ?

Moderatorisn’t it funny had exactly the same problem on a smeg yesterday. my unit the fans run and the thermostat light is on but no heat. Im my customers and your unit there are 2 elements. This means there is 4 Kw of heat load which is too much power for the thermostat. Smegs answer is to fit a small power board to switch the load and these can go faulty.

in my case a small capacitor has blown so hopefully I can find one of an old board otherwise my customer will have no cooker for Christmas
hope you sort it in time
cant promise this is faulty but its high on the list

Moderatorno mine did not but the component that had failed on the board was smoking slightly when I looked
I may be it starts ok then fails. if it was me I would test it to make sure
the way the system works is the thermostat tells the board to turn on the elements and the board closes relays to do that
if it was any kind of overheat stat I would expect a lot more to go offDave
