I have a Smeg SUK91MFK cooker. Both the grill and upper over element will not heat up. Both have been tested and work OK on a test bench but put back in the oven will not heat up.
Does anyone have a cure for this or can you tell me where I could get a wiring diagram from.
When I first removed it some of the connections pulled off so not sure if the connections are correct.

    Re: SMEG SUK91MFX COOKER

In fact i have exactly the same issue with my cooker. I have investigated and find the element is ok, “measure the resistance” you dont need to power it.

The thermal trip is ok and the small servo relay board down in the bottom right is ok. So i am thinking that it is something to do with the actual selector switch. i notice there is now a replacement switch that separates contacts for the top element from the spit motor so i recon there is a design fault in this area and the contacts get damaged.

Have you found a solution? because i will be taking the front apart next to confirm my thoughts and don’t really want to bother if you have found a solution.

    Appreciate feedback.
