Smeg SUK91MFX fan oven element not working

i have a Smeg SUK91MFX oven which has 2 fan assisted elements, one of the elements does not come on.
i have swapped them around and the same problem happens on the same side, so the elements are ok. Every thing else is working as normal.
Any help appreciated

have seen the cooker but cant remember specifics

but

assume its controlled by a pcb so are there separate relays for each element if so one could have gone

I know this thread is around 1 year old, but I have the same problem

On the PCB I swapped around the 2 wires I traced for the right element (red and blue wires on rhs near relay on right – the relay being the small white sugar cube relay) with the two opposite corresponding wires. This made the other element work.

I assume therefore that the relay is faulty.

I am going to try to replace the relay, you can get them on eBay for around £4 or a new PCB is around £80

makes sense relays are normally the weak point
