    Good morning all,

Could someone let me know if I can r&r a suspect thermostat on the above unit as a non gas qualified engineer?

The customer has reported that the small oven gets too hot, and the temperature will not reduce via the controls.

I suspect the thermostat ass’y, although realise this is accessed from the rear.

The unit has a gas hob, and I’m not sure about the above, as I don’t have much experience on these types of cookers.

    Regards,

You will struggle to get in to the thermostat on that unit without disturbing the gas , unless you have ultra skinny and very long arms 😆

    Thanks chezza,

Will probably refer to a gas or Smeg engineer, and concentrate on the other fault on this unit.

    Kind regards,
