SMEG UK80FMX1 – ROTISSERIE

Hi we moved into a house with this type of dual-fuel oven left behind. I was fascinated by the face that it had a rotisserie – BUT it doesn’t work!

I have made sure that the kit is assembles properly and that the spike goes through the hole and makes the micro-switch work. I have also carried out a con-check across the micro switch showing it is OK.

I cant make head or tail of the front panel configurations to get it to work either. Any help most gratefully accepted

From memory they only work on the grill setting and the static oven setting but I’m not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} as when I had an oven with a rotisserie it was hardly ever used and we get asked about them once in a blue moon.

It’s like many a kitchen gadget… very, very rarely used.
