Smeg washer dryer UKST121/S2, Any one come across this model?( I think Cda had one similar the interlock is usally a problem.)
On turning the dial to the program, close the door the drum turns once then it goes quite about 20 seconds later the drain pump kicks in for a short time then nothing.
    Any suggestions 😕

    Many Thanks

    Hi Steven,

have you checked the base of the machine for water. There is usually a float switch in the base, like some dishwashers.

Failed inlet valve/ no water supply? Most recent machines now start a cycle with a short pump out sequence before a pause and then filling with water.

    Just a thought,

    Steve.

    Thanks all for the replies,

There were small water marks in base but no water looks like the stain has been there for some time.

Have checked all inlet valves they appear ok, but it has got the aqua stop hoses.

Thanks for the mail chris, but this model has seperate timer / main pcb behind the front kick plate and small pcb at the back rear.

Customer has had main pcb changed when she first had the m/c!!
