ParticipantI have two issue that I would like your opinions on please:
1st Query
Sometimes it doesnt spin even after re-arranging the contents and select the same programme it wont spin fast. However if I select a diferent spin on another programme (which is not as long) it will spin, then if I select the original spin programme this will also work.
2nd Query
It seems the dryer is becoming less efficient, now it takes a lot longer and after the initial run, the clothes are still damp but steaming. 🙄 I have read other threads and started to think about the condenser. Just wanted to check I was on the right lines and as if anyone can give me an idea of where it is/and what it looks like.

It is entirely possible that the two faults are linked – I would check the filter behind the kick board at the bottom as your first port of call. Poor drainage can affect both spinning and drying.

Checked that this morning all seems to be clear, water came pouring out, I also poured water down the drainage hose and it came out. It only happens intermittently as last night it work fine.

It’s a very complicated job! Time for some professional help me thinks 😕 But it could be a stat, a heater, a sensor, a cut-out?
The same goes with the spinning problem 🙄 It could be the module, it could be the capacitor if it’s an induction motor? It could be the carbons on a brush motor? The modules are very tempremental on those intergrated French/Italian washers. It could be a goosed armature?
There’s too many variables atm 🙁

This morning it wouldnt wash at all it appeared that it wasnt letting water in. It would just click its way through the wash cycle and stop on the spanner. However after moving it on a level it worked fine and water started coming in again and then it failed again at the next cycle. So I had to manually put it through each cycle.
Could it be the cold inlet valve?
If so is there a way to unclog them or is it just a matter of replacement?
