smegg dw doin ma nut

hi dwi612c have fitted new latch and facier. but the latch keeps, flippin over overy 5 or 6 washes , doin ma nut, no adjustment on hook on dw seems to rubb a bit when opening and closing tried bending hook up and down, its driving me mad. am i missing something that could be causing this ? help please

went back to this again an latch had flipt over again mare.so took al apart again, now programme wont start. or reset.door latch ok . an micro swtich ok. took apart again. took the 2 wires of door switch, an the bloody thing will start to work an pcb resets. wats goin on. am loosin the will to live 😆 any help guys.?o an when u open door now .wash will stop but bleeps when open and left hand light flashing rinse.. didnt do before. am crackin up, also customer wantin money back which aint good 😳

Possibly wouldn’t reset if latch was closed as such. Will only reset while door open normally.

had one of these under warranty once with the roll over problem and only new door hinges fixed it in the end. As for the other problem, is there any sign of water getting into the door switch? may have been run with door not shut properly and done the module in if so.

try gently tweaking horse shoe type latch down about 1mm this should stop it from flying open in wash also make sure upper basket isnt snagging ’cause this will keep door slightly ajar and cause leak into facia and base tray, hope this helps had lots do it same on zanussi z series regards nige [eccosse rule]

mmm the door shuts fine but bit tight. tryed bendin down does help bit flips over when opened tho a tryi it 20 times . she tries it once, goes joke 😳 😳

I’d give her the money back as a “goodwill gesture” and let her see if she can find anyone else within a hundred miles who can do any better. (Then if she ever calls you again, put your call out charge up double.)
