SMEGi Di6 13AE -power off before door closes

Hello all –

I have an issue with my smeg integrated dishwasher. The power only remains on when the door is partially open. Power cuts off if the door is fully opened or about the last 15 degrees before the door is closed.

no error lights. I managed to close the door quickly yesterday to get the cycle to start but I can’t manage that trick today !

the control panel is fully functioning when partially open at about 45 degrees open but it seems the door fully open or almost closed and the power cuts out.

Any ideas please ?

Sounds like there’s a dodgy wire or more in the harness through the door.
