SMV46KX00G/08 Bosch dishwasher

This dishwasher has an e19 fault the code is heat exchanger fault I have tried a replacement motor/heater but no joy so I am thinking module before I proceed could there be an alternative option

That sounds like the heat exchanger on the left hand side outlet valve i think they call it

E19 is usually an open circuit valve on the bottom of the heat exchanger tank – in this case the part number that you will likley need is 11033896

Thanks think I have misunderstood the fault code as heater I call the the tank metering tank these parts keep changing there names fortunately I didn’t have to buy a motor/heater had a spare one

yes its a heat exchanger as it fill with cold water just before the end of the wash allowing some of the wash heat to warm it and save energy
