    Hi all,
Whirlpool dishwasher, I don’t have mod no to hand sorry, Anyway I fitted a wash pump to it 6 weeks ago and after 4 days customer phoned me to say DW is not washing properly so when I examined it I found it full of suds as if someone had put washing up liquid in it, customer assured me that this was not the case so I cleared it,{ with difficulty I might add} now 5 weeks on customer phoned to say it is happening again .Has anyone come across a similar problem with one of these. The tablets she uses are cheap ones.

PS. Old wash pump was an askol type.

    Thanks MARK.

Has she poured Fairy Liquid in the rinse aid compartment or detergent in the salt container I wonder?

    Thanks Martin,
I don’t think so, barring the issue of washing’up liquid can you or anyone else think of anything that will cause this problem.

    Thank Mark.

It could be that rinse aid solution is leaking into the machine before the final rinse maybe?

Rinse Aid solution and cold water make plenty big bubbles!!!!! πŸ’‘

Tablets every time and not just cheap ones, my dishwasher starts to “grunt” 😯 When you open the door “it’s frothy man”, it usually trickles down the front and trips my RCD πŸ™ It never happened with powders πŸ˜₯ It’s a 27 year old Hotpoint (Bosch) by the way πŸ˜‰
