Its flat down there, you should try a few inches of snow with the hills we have round here.
Took me 45 minutes to get to the main road which was clear this morning.
The real problem is the steep incline and two bends plus all the thoughtlessly parked vehicles that you risk slding into. 👿
Got three calls done, really struggled to get back home for a quick brew & butty. Off out to do the rest shortly.
Jim.

ParticipantI managed to get 4 calls done , dropping 3 that were up the more treacherous side roads. All of the customers i re-booked understood and the customers that i finished were amazed i even turned up !!

Well the sudden flurry of snow has given me a few extra calls today by those who’ve stayed off work because of it. So a few inches of snow has brought good fortune to those who dare venture I dare say.
On one visit the lady was apparently so desperate that I should fix her dryer having taken a day off. And in raptures at my appearance on her doorstep. She was rather less reluctant however in allowing me to tramp across her lounge carpet with my snow covered footware. Until I suggested she throw a few towels on the deck as stepping stones….which she did whilst I reminded her she could at least now dry them again in her dryer….
What a laaaaarf….:rotl:

Hi all
M1 littered with jackknifed lorrys over turned vans, didnt even see a gritter in over 5 hours.was able to get to 1 call this morning.
Bumped the 4X4 bending the rear stay arm when it decided not to go round the corner on one of the side roads.Back up and running again for another try tomorrow..its meant to be worse again.

Never had this happen before, Just chased a parcel through D.H.L from Connect and its listed as: Non delivery due to adverse weather! The City Link guy was out and about this afternoon though. No wonder I Use Masterpart wherever possible.
