Might not be getting out tomorrow, finished early to be sure of getting home before 4.00 PM. Rang the wife who works in Oldham to tell her to leave at once as the snow was coming down thick & fast. It took her over an hour to travel 4 miles and she got stuck at the end of the road. 😥
Just got nice and warm and I had to go out with my spade to dig her out.
:rolls:
Managed to get her car up on the drive but it was a hell of a struggle, think it will be staying there tomorrow.Jim.

Enjoying a nice, peacful day off. no one has got off our part of the estate yet.
Even a couple of 4×4’s couldn’t make it.
The scene out of the window is very nice with the sun now shining in a clear blue sky. 8)
Going to wrap up warm and go for a long walk over the tops later. 🙂

Methinks the customers can wait today, even the gritters are having a fun time trying to get through the village. Did you say you were going for a walk Jim? I always knew you northerners were a hearty breed 🙂

Beats the view out of Ken’s back garden that’s for sure. 🙂
Perhaps we should start a new thread ‘What’s in your backyard?’ 💡

Snow up here came and went yesterday, 6 inches, I am dying to get out to work but I can’t cos I have “Chichenpox”. Caring customer invited me into the house but convenently forgot to tell me the f**king kid had it, I should send her a bill for my lost income 👿

Bet you wish you had that when you were a kid now. Whole weeks off school…… mine had it at 6 months and at 2 years so no future worries there.
watch out for that calomine lotion stuff…….have to rub it everywhere 😆really though, feel for you. Hope you can get back out soon.
