They’ve been shipping it out for years.
The EU have tried to stop the practice from European States but I don’t know how successful they’ve been as it was really bad on phones because of the value in the rare earth elements in them.

its estimated that in Britain alone we each have 4-6 old mobiles kicking around in drawers etc
well im of to get a couple of shipping containers , a boat and learn to speak Chinese manual

You don’t need to get a shipping container, boat or to learn Chinese.
