Good.
If you go into that as I described earlier then you can alter the user so they can’t come back.
Someone deleted GlobalGuru, so he’ll be back.

Oh and I’ve altered the flood defence as well so it’s harder for them to flood the forums with spam.

Go to the admin homepage then click on Forums, you’re there. Or at least, should be.

Looking carefully at the Admin page icons I can see seven, but one them, ‘Content’ appears twice, should one of these icons be Forums instead of Content ?

I *think* I’ve got my head round it…..
(I deleted MTLandscape this afternoon. Just came home to print a page off from SIOS, looked on UKW – there’s that b’stard again – ZAP! Sorry about that.)

No worries Chris, I had a few things in my head this afternoon and really didn’t want to be dealing with those prats.
If we disable the accounts then they can’t then login or re-register which, for now, is the best we can do with it.

Just tweaked a couple with my new found toys. 🙂 altered a couple of recent ones, tousculpa and Frezahherd.
Do you want us to de activate all three options, I noticed that on some that you have already attended to you have clicked on all three options on some and just ‘inactive’ on others, not the PM or Avatar option.

KeymasterYep, I just deactivate all the toys. 😉
I do leave the email addy alone though so that they can’t use the same one again.

This is getting a bit circular……..
kuzkirgen is on the site now – have amended his email addy as per what I managed to pick out of the last four pages – now you’re saying I shouldn’t? Made it into an @UKW. If he posts, he’s bust, yes?

If the email is changed then they can use the one they did originally to re-register. If a username or email address is already in use then the system won’t allow them to register.
What they will do for a while is use another email and/or another username until they run out, get bored or someone manually susses that we’re actively blocking them.

KeymasterAnd some more bad news, I’m offline until late tomorrow or will at least have limited access to the net. 🙁

I guess that if we check them out and find the account de activated then we will know that someone has got there before us, therefore we can leave the e-mail addy alone.
Jim.
EDIT. Just tweaked KristenClarkson, sneaked though yesterday, posted some garbage in the dishwasher forum about someone from Myspace being killed in a car crash. :rolls: -
