Spare Base Element for Top section of Diplomat ADP4522?

Please can you advise what base element I need for the top oven/grill for our diplomat ADP4522.
I know from cooker-parts.co.uk (the same organisation as this?) what grill element I need but I can’t find a base element.
If one element is broken will it stop the whole section working?
The bottom oven still works fine, and the base element doesn’t seem to be broken when checked with a multimeter.

Unfortunately already placed order for the grill element, but still needed to know cost for a base/oven element for the top section of the oven.
