Spare Part on order over 5 months!

I have a ‘backorder’ outstanding from Wash Vac (Parts Center) going back to 29/6/04 and still waiting 🙁 (Zanussi T/stat Part No: 1258406014 actually, only one left on my van now).

Is this a record? 🙄

….and this year incidentally, they aren’t running their ‘Christmas Hamper’ promotion (money getting tight I expect since the rebranding 🙂 )
Never mind eh? 8) I’ve never won one anyway in all my decades of trading with them, besides I noticed every year that those companies that did win their Hamper where the big traders anyway 😕

Got my ‘Christmas Message’ from them though :tup: “Thanks for your business…!” and all that, but it was addressed “Dear Sir or Madman” 😡

Nope, it’s not a record at all Martin.

We used to regularly wait 6 months plus for spares for the Kelvinator US fridge freezers from Grand Rapids.

I have recently waited 3 months plus for certain spares, including for under warranty repairs.

I personally know of someone who ordered approx 40 standard stock items from washvac and lo and behold only 5 of them was in stock and the rep moaned about how little they was spending with them.. 🙄 I wont use them after months of trying to contact rep ect with no joy….total waste of time.. 😕

I am still waiting for spares ordered through Alba Radio for a Hinari studio dishwasher. This was April 2003. Periodic progressing reveals that it will be “about a fortnight”.

Customer has long since bought a Zanussi studio dishwasher, but I have the Hinari and a bad attitude………

Ridiculous.
