ParticipantI am replacing my 1607W as the drum seal has failed and I cannot get a replacement part from ukwhitegoods or anywhere else for weeks seemingly. It’s otherwise working fine.
To make it easier to carry out of our first floor flat, I’ve removed the steel weights at the front and the motor. I’ve also removed the front control panel.
Not sure what the availability of these parts is like now but if anyone needs any parts off this machine before it goes to landfill let me know.
If I had space to store it, I’d have done that and waited for a new drum seal but we can’t be without a washing machine for weeks I’m afraid.
Cheers,
Euan.

Participantlooks like your machine was made in Slovenia by Gorenje under part number GRJ268551= tank seal, odd that failed check the door seal for hole/s first.
Try here https://spares4gorenje.co.uk/hisense-gorenje-sealing-materials-268551-sealing-strip-front-gable-wm7/126791March 5, 2025 at 10:00 am #492309iadom
ModeratorThis ISE model was produced in Sweden before the full Gorenje take over. The door seal on this machine does not get holes in it.

ModeratorThis is the label from my own ISE1607W. The black thing under the label is the top of the door seal.

ParticipantWell done. Thought I might have been wrong with the door seal bit suggestion and only mentioned the Gorenje part as that was the only one I could find under that part number of some company that they say it is in stock so presumed (most unlike me) that it was a Slovenian made jobby when it isn`t. Thx for putting me right..Hope e-max can fix his machine, not an inexpensive make that you usually ditch!

BlockedFinding spare parts for the ISE 1607W can be tricky since it’s an older model. Checking with independent repair shops or looking for compatible parts from similar models might be a good option. Sometimes, refurbished components are available online.

I had to dispose of the machine sadly but did save the control panel as I’d seen in previous posts that they can fail too. I’ll stick it in the attic and if anyone needs one of these in future, reach out to me. I replaced it with an Asko W6098
