Thanks for the reply Martin. Being the curious type, I removed the glass top, blew some dust out of the touch sensitive pads and re-assembled. I managed to turn one of the cooking zones on for about 10 secs before it cut out again. I tried the on/off button again, but no response again.
I guess £200+ for the part doesn’t make it worth replacing. Think I might change to gas!!
I’ve used the same cleaner for 2+ years, but I will try your tip as a last ditch attempt.
