I can’t be sure but I’m pretty certain that they are aware of this site. As usual little interest was taken. One of the spares distributors even wanted to charge UKW for a link, I will not name them, but suffice to say I wasn’t impressed.

Many of the suppliers seem to have a “if it’s not going to make me anything I’m not interested” attitude and they are prepared to offer little, if indeed any, input.

Just look at teh suppliers list a FREE service and not one of them has bothered to send me some details. They must not want business. 😕

Funny you should mention that it reminded of a story in our local rag earlier this year.

The large toy company of a similar name successfully forced an Exeter tropical fish shop to change it’s name from Fish ‘R’ Us through the courts. Poor guy had to change his shop signage and all his paperwork as well.

We had a kebab place up here called “MacDonners” who got dragged through the the courts by you know who, and won. The original business had been founded by a Scot in 1966, and the last owner didn’t even hire a lawyer – just went to court and showed the papers with the dates! Got his costs as well – excellent.

He’s retired now and the shop has gone, so I assume the name has now been bought and trademarked by MacDonalds.
