Spares for AEG hood

One of the kids poked the switches too hard and broke a mounting lug off the plastic housing for the switch assembly. I could only find the whole assy available (at some horrendous price) so used super glue, but it didn’t last 🙁

Is there anywhere I can get just the plastic moulding?

Thanks, I was worried that might be the case.

Unless someone has a duff switch assembly (that I can salvage the housing from) I’ll need to get busy with the Araldite and some bits of aluminium 🙁

It is only available with pcb, if i ever replace because of faulty board i usually keep old one as does happen to easily.

What I did was to saw-off the remaining plastic mounting lug and make an aluminium wide “top hat” bracket which is screwed to the original mounting tags and presses the housing towards the front. It took about 30 mins and works superbly, the panel feels much more solidly mounted than it ever has.
