ParticipantI’ve just been tidying up my garage (if only to please the missus 🙄 ) and came across this tool that I haven’t used in anger for many a year (probably 20 years?)…………….I bet many of you ‘old codgers’ can relate to this priceless special tool we had in the van and used almost every day?
First one to guess wins a FREE BUS PASS…..??? :rotl:

Looks like the driver I used to use to remove the bolts that held the inner bowl to the Power Unit on old Hotpoint 1500’s.
Young Jim. 😉
PS. Wish I had kept my old English Electric drum removal slide, that would have had them guessing.

Yep that is what that is, all old Hotpoint enginees still have one, useful for eeprom removal 😆
Infact its damn useful for anyone who, like me repairs Aga companions and modules as it fits the screw heads under the chrome caps perfectly.

Somewhere in my garage is a box spanner that is around two foot long and the diameter of an old type drain pipe. Any guesses as to what that was for.

2 instant thoughts.
1) Taking heaters out of Rolls twin tubs.
2) Undoing the nut at the bottom of the shaft of the turbulator of an English Electric Twin Tub.
Probably neither, my memory is failing.
