Someone brought in a Frigidaire spin dryer for repair the other day. It has a split in one of the motor mounts which causes the drum to bang about. There do not seem to be any spares available for these but I could perhaps fit 3 new mounts as sold for the Hotpoint twintubs. These are expensive and would be a lot stiffer than the original mounts. Alternatively, I could try Mini exhaust bobbins, which are similar to the Hotpoint mounts but probably cheaper. Has anyone here had success with repairing these old dryers?

    Hi .

Got a picture of what you want?.

I have 3 mounts which I THINK might be what you want. About to be chucked out as not seen the light of day for about 25years. You need to be quick, I shall be in CYPRUS on wednesday!.

    Regards,

    Mike

Mount is about 2 inches long and has 6mm studs each end.

Yup, they look like the ones I just parceled up for you. Not new but worth keeping for 25 years.

    Regards, Mike
