    Hi. Just noticed that at the end of a spin the drum stops within a few seconds quite violently where I’m sure it used to gently spin down its speed. The spin and wash rotation seems OK. Can anyone suggest what could be causing this please?

    Something trapped under drum?

    Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately it was run again before I got to look at it, the main drive motor took out the house RCD and an electrical burning smell filled the room it was in… Fortunately the pump still operated OK. So we bit the bullet and replaced it… The internal drum felt very loose front-to-back so I’m wondering if the bearing or an attachment had failed.
