We’ve decided to offer forum sponsorship to companies within the industry that wish to do so.

This is a well practised way of companies being able to advertise cheaply and offering support for the maintenance of many sites on the internet. Given that the forums index page recieves over 13,000 hits per month as an average from mid-January this year alone it offers a lot of exposure at a minimal cost.

The rules are simple for it, the graphic used, logo or whatever, has to be a maximum of 170×60 and we will enter text to show that the particular forum is sponsored and who by. The image can also be made to support a link to an external website if so desired. It’s pretty flexible.

I have used examples on a couple of forums using the UKW 3 Appliance graphic at 50×42 pixels which is very small, but as they say, a picture can speak a thousand words.
