SRS2026 Noisy Fan/Icing Fault

Hi,

I have a 7 year old SRS2026CVW fridge freezer, and for the past few weeks I’ve had what I now know to be a common problem i.e. icing up at the back and causing the fan to be noisy.
Looking around on the web it seems that Samsung side by side FF’s have this as a common problem, and basically I’m looking to fix it.
About a month ago I switched the fridge off for a couple of days and defrosted it, and all seemed well, but it’s come back again in the last couple of days.
Can anyone tell me if there is now a definite fix for this issue? I’ve read about taking the back panel out and defrosting it and opening out the drain hole, but I’ve also read that this only solves things temporarily.
I’ve also read that Samsung have an upgrade kit for the RS21 with the same problem, so is there a similar kit for mine?

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.
