Static caravan fridge freezer not working

We have a static caravan and fridge freezer has been turned off for the winter period shut down.
Sue turned it back on again on Thursday and we have just been down to check and its not working.
The inside light is coming on so I presume power is there, but there’s no noise from motor or what ever makes the fridge noise.
Anyone got ideas what the problem could be and if it’s an easy fix?

Hi Tom A,

have you turned on the heating in the caravan yet as the thermostat may still think the fridge is cold enough and will not turn the compressor on.

Not done that yet. Will turn it on tomorrow.

Been down today and I removed the cover over the thermostat. Gave it a little tap with a screwdriver and hey presto it’s working.
