Stick topic

How do you stick a topic, I can see an option for Normal, Announcment & Global but nothing for Sticky although there is an option to set a time limit on a sticky entering a number or leaving it blank has no effect if you can’t select Sticky anywhere in the first place. 😕

Unless of course I am missing something obvious. 😳

I can see it fine on this one as a quick test but I stopped the general trade group and others from being able to post stickies due to some that I thought were just stupid as stickies.

You may not like footy but I have just unstuck the 2010/2011 football thread and posted a new one for next season in the Off Topic forum, I was going to stick it but found I couldn’t.

Its no big deal, for some reason most people lost interest half way through when it became obvious that Man U would win the Premiership once again and Chelski, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool would get nowt 😛 😀

i know what you mean though, I have unstuck many such posts in the past. :rolls:

I know I know :duck:

I used to be able to see posters IP addresses at one time on this new board but of late they seem to have disapeared.

You should only see them on the user profile now.

I used to see ip addresses in user profile then user notes. Now I only see “No log entries for this period” which appears under the headings of report by and user ip etc.

Can you not see them by clicking the small ? ( Information ) at the top of every post?

Still don’t appear to be able to ‘stick’ topics. No bad thing for the general membership TBH.

Do you have the power to stick threads K, if so then THIS one could possibly be worthwhile.
