ParticipantHello
The fan in the main oven of my Bosch HBN9360GB/06 has a tendency to stick when the oven is switched on, and needs a gentle prod to start spinning. Looking at the Bosch site I see that 261675 at £75.01 plus p+p is the fan motor.
My question is: do I have to remove the oven from its housing to replace the motor or can it be done in situ? And is it a straightforward procedure?
Many thanks
Richard

It looks like it’s a removal job to acess the back and removal of the motor should be easy after taking off the fan and removing the rear cover

Thanks George, so it’s removed from outside? Will there not be plenty of insulation in the way?
TIA

If there is insulation in the way just gently tease it apart, once you’ve replaced the part/parts it will pull back over.

Do you agree with gdownes’ suggestion that the fan motor is accessed from outside the back of the oven and not through the interior?
