All of a sudden the programme selector dial on my Bosch washing machine has become stiffer and ‘sponge-y’ (best way I can describe it!). It still works but I’m thinking that it’s on the way out.

I could replace the part, if only I could find one!

Can anyone suggest a source for a replacement please? I’ve had a hunt on the ‘net but no luck as yet.

    Thanks

The selector unit is part of the main module so new module is only remedy.
I must admit, I have never come across these failing in this way 😕
Part if required is available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk but would need full Enr number off the machine 😀

Power off if you are to attempt yourself :plug:

Thanks Greg, a pity I just can’t get hold of the selector controller itself (ie that the selector knob attaches to) – I’m skilled at electronics so replacing it wouldn’t be a problem, but have to find it first.

    Will try your suggestion.

    Hi
Remove module form fascia, locate selector unit and rest is down to you 😉
    Power off as always 😀

It would,nt just be some coffee or gunge behind the knob

When removed from fascia, all will be apparent 😉
