Hi
I have a Smeg Df410S Dishwasher. It is leaking from the sump area.
I have fitted a new gasket to the lower part of the sump and reassembled but the unit is still leaking. I have tried also sealing the joint with silicone but this seems to have made things worse.
Have run out of ideas now having spent several days working on this and I am dangerously close to sending for an engineer.
I cannot understand the design of the sump as there seems to be no internal gasket just a plastic plate with four screws that pull up the sump onto the underneath.
Any suggestions welcome. As I have said I have replaced the gasket and still cannot get watertight join.
Thanks all.
