Ever since the shop was refreshed I’ve failed to get any discount on orders placed 🙁 Was after a zan w/d heater and ordered one this eve.
The 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} did come off initially but then went back to full price when I bloody paid! 👿

I know competition’s tough out there and maybe the 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} is needed for the good of the company’s bottom line but why then is the discount being applied initially?

Kinda misleading IMO,pity it cant be sorted out one way or the other ❓ 🙁

We’ve been trying to suss out why, everything says that it should be okay but, apparently it isn’t.

Do you really think it’s deliberate though? 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} doesn’t exactly float my boat for the volume and value of orders that are trade. So no, there’s no conspiracy theory to be found there given that the time to answer this is probably worth more than the value under discussion.

Did you think to ask Dave about it or report it before going off on one in here?

Or, perhaps, just maybe, we might try to sort it for you one way or another even if it’s a temporary fix.

We think it’s something to do with the switching between HTTP and HTTPS and an error there but it’s proving a bit of a sod to track the bug down as it seems to happen on the fly. That means, we can’t see it. If we can’t see it or replicate it, it’s extremely hard to track.

Misleading, no.

A stupid bug, yes.

Since Sudeep is off getting married and won’t be back in the UK till January it is unlikely to get sorted in the next few weeks unless we can happen across it.

Look, I know there’s no deliberate slight of hand at work but I’ve always appreciated the discount and in turn I’ve tried to support the site and probably ordered parts in the thousands in value since I joined six years ago.

I thought maybe It would be a relatively simple fix but I dont know much about website maintenance I’ll admit.

I did PM DC about it 😉

Anyway, sorry, didn’t mean to come across as a spoiled brat, probably had a few too many cold ones last night when I posted.
