Stock Control

This probably is aimed more at those of you that have premises like a retail shop and engineers on the road. Do any of you run a computer stock control system that allows tracking of stock both over the counter to customers as well as stock drawn by engineers for use on the road or as van stock.

I know there are epos systems but these seem expensive and I would be greatly interested in anyone that has set up a stock system that offers control over stock without to much complication.

We use Quickbooks for stock listings, but it doesn’t differenciate stock in the store-room to stock on the van
